Mariscos y Tacos 'El Capitan'

I’m a Tucson native. I have tried MANY seafood places and this one has to be one of the best. Not only is the food amazing, the service we receive when we go is beyond great. To the smallest of detail. The posture of the workers was so profesional, mind you, you’re eating outside… where they have fans and shade. They’re fast, attentive, and bilingual. Super clean! They had a young girl helping out and she was working hard. They were playing older Mexican songs, while we enjoyed our raw and cooked seafood. we started with chips/ salsa and toritos… they MADE the chips!!!! The salsa that comes with them was this large portion of a pico de gallo type of salsa they put a bunch of lime in the toritos are huge, filled with shrimp and crema. Bacon is super crispy. Our order also included the -Tostitos ceviche -ahogados (raw shrimp) -shrimp taco -taco gobernador which is a quesadilla with shrimp and toppings on my previous visit I’ve had the molcajete, marlin, and took the Clamato preparado to go. Their raw seafood is so fresh, I have ZERO complaints on the smell texture or taste. I can’t express how much we LOVE the food and service here!

Wow. Amazing 5-Star Quesabirria. My daughter ate lunch here. Friendly owners, clean tables, and some of the best Quesabirria we have ever had. Highly recommended you go out of your way to try this.

It is very hard to find a good, authentic seafood restaurant in the area but the food here was amazing. The service was great. They were good at checking in on you and even went over the menu and provided available options not shown on it. The price is very reasonable considering its seafood.

The ceviche was exceptional. Best ive had in town. The cook also makes his rounds as you eat which was a nice touch. And the service was great, very attentive and friendly. Will be going back to try the shrimp cocktail next.

Delicious, fast, and nice atmosphere. Their shaded dining area shields you from the sun, and the traffic of the street. Healthy keto and protein-rich options. Fresh taste. I got the Jamaica Agua fresca, and the botana el capitán for early lunch.
